Join CVYO Virtuosi for a thrilling summer program at Cal Lutheran’s beautiful campus in Thousand Oaks. The festival hosts an international faculty and student body. Participants begin the day with orchestra directed by Paul Phillips (Stanford), receive chamber music coachings in the afternoon, and finish the day with Virtuosi rehearsal lead by Alexander Tseitlin (CVYO, CYAS), studying Schoenberg’s Verklarte Nacht and Beethoven’s Second Symphony. The festival’s many guest faculty members from LA Phil, NY Phil, and other orchestras, will drop in as guest musicians for orchestra rehearsals.

Lunch and Dinner are provided, with ample time to collaborate and spend time with musicians from the United States and abroad. Masterclasses with renowned faculty are available throughout the festival.

Current and alumni Virtuosi members are eligible for a tuition scholarship.

Non-Virtuosi members can request to participate in Montecito Virtuosi by audition, but can access morning Symphony Orchestra, and afternoon lessons and masterclasses.
