At your in-person audition, you will be required to play a scale, your solo excerpt, and the orchestral excerpt for the ensemble you are auditioning for. You will also receive feedback on your performance, feedback on your previous season (if a returning member), and receive your placement in your ensemble. You will have a chance to tour the campus, meet our staff, and get to know our program as well.

Please select your first and second preference for an audition time. You will be scheduled for a half-hour block during which you will play your 8-minute audition. Please arrive early enough to warm up and be ready to play (at least 15 minutes).

Please note: while you may include special scheduling requests, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all requests.

If you are physically unable to attend either in-person audition, please  contact us. You will be required to record and submit your entire audition by video, then audition in-person on the orientation day.
